Prophecy 1x4 HDMI Splitter Compact
- Distributes HDMI video & audio from a single source to 4 HDMI displays simultaneously without signal degradation (mirror mode only).
- Compact design allows for an easy installation in tight spaces.
- Comprehensive EDID options and firmware upgradeable.
- Supports resolution downscaling from 4K to 1080p
- Use Elgato or other game capture devices to record game play footage in 1080p, while actually playing in 4K (See Important Notes and downscaling limitations below).
4K HDR Resolution
- Supports up to 4K @60Hz (4:4:4 8-bit), HDR 4K @60Hz (4:2:0 10-bit), 3D, xvYCC, x.v.Color & Deep Color.
- HDR gives you enhanced color, magnificent clarity and improved contrast.
- Compliant with HDMI 2.0a, HDCP 2.2/1.4 with 18Gbps bandwidth.
Intelligent Downscaling
Supports auto video downscaling from 4K to 1080p to maximize the resolution compatibility and makes a legacy display compatible in a 4K environment.
Downscaling Limitations:
- Downscaling from 720p to 480p or 4K @60hz 4:2:2 to 1080p or 2K to 1080p NOT supported
- 4K HDR to 1080p makes the 1080p display look washed out (PRO-HDRSplit4P-EH fixes this / see below). Splitter can bypass 4K HDR data content but cannot process it to make 4K HDR content fit 1080p proportionally.
- Will not work with AVRs using HDMI 1.4 and earlier (PRO-HDRsplit2P/4P/8P fixes this / see below)
- Auto downscale from 4K to 1080p should work in most cases. If Auto doesn’t work, try the Forced downscale option
- Frame rate conversion (e.g., 60Hz to 24Hz) is not supported
